If sharks are the reason you travel, this is the route we recommend
For 7 nights aboard the M/Y Sinaistar we sail to the offshore reefs of the Egyptian Red Sea: Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone. September is an excellent time for these reefs: schools of hammerheads at Daedalus, possible silky and oceanic whitetip sharks at all three sites, and good chances of manta rays and other pelagics.
The spirit of the trip
Not just the big animals.
The reefs are colorful and full of life: there is plenty to enjoy all week long.

Good to know
The diving
Indicative program
The order of the sites depends on the weather, the currents and the captain’s decisions. Offshore, conditions can change quickly: currents are sometimes strong, dives are almost always from zodiacs, and negative entries may be needed depending on conditions.
Night diving is prohibited by law in the marine parks; depending on the itinerary, regulations and conditions, up to two night dives at other sites during the week.
