Over seven days we travel through some of the most extraordinary ecosystems in Mexico: the legendary Sea of Cortez, the open waters of La Ventana and the stunning Magdalena Bay.
We explore reefs bursting with life, sail in search of cetaceans and marine predators, spend time with local communities and witness some of the most incredible natural spectacles on the planet. Here we don’t just explore nature: we let ourselves become part of it.

Seven days in Baja California
Itinerary
Day 01
Arrival
San José del Cabo.
Airport pick-up and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, welcome dinner with the whole group and your Kaptain Dive Expeditions kit (cap and t-shirt).
Night in San José del Cabo
Day 02
Diving
Cabo Pulmo
Early departure to the National Park; 2 afternoon dives among schools of jacks, bull sharks and reefs full of life. Night in a villa in Cabo Pulmo
Day 03
Diving
Cabo Pulmo
Cabo Pulmo National Park; 2 morning dives among schools of jacks, bull sharks and reefs full of life. After diving we have lunch and head to La Ventana.
Day 04
Sea safari
La Ventana
First full day of exploration. 6–8 hours at sea looking for orcas, sperm whales, sea lions and humpback whales.
Night in a hotel
Day 05
Sea safari
La Ventana
Second full day of exploration. 6–8 hours at sea for another chance to meet pelagics and more marine life; we also visit local islands, and after lunch we head to Magdalena Bay.
Night in glamping in Magdalena Bay
Day 06
Sea safari + return
Magdalena Bay
We sail the Pacific looking for sardine bait balls where whales, sea lions, sailfish and lots of marine life feed: a real spectacle. We also visit sand dunes.
In the afternoon we drive back to San José del Cabo for the end-of-expedition celebration. Night in San José del Cabo.
Day 07
Farewell
Flight home
Transfer to the airport. End of the expedition.
